Pastor Author, pastor, faith-healer, and television presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving, dedicated parents. He was the oldest of four children of the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina who is the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her faith in God’s grace upon her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by the entire family. His brother Reverend Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several international best-selling gospel musicians.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon decided to follow in her father’s footsteps of sharing the Word of God with the world. The name is CSO (Community Service Organization), she is a skilled gospel artist and is a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied at Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where the student earned an BSc in Architecture. Oyakhilome He also received an honorary Doctor of Science award. He has an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he got his calling from God to go into the ministry and to be an obedient servant of the Lord.

The Man Of God was a student at University when He founded the church that would soon grow into one of largest worldwide. His prayer group, called ‘Youth for Christ’ would eventually become one of the campus’ most well-known groups. They would later go on to create LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.

Pastor Chris led the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite television and Christian production of television. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel to broadcast 24 hours a day from Africa through free-to-air channels. In the present, LoveWorld television stations are available on satellite and cable networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence throughout Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria. Two Healing Schools are located in South Africa and Canada. In Canada Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions that allow the manifestation of miracles.

Music and Gospel Music are an important element of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir to train. Many of these vocalists have been successful as soloists under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s guidance.
