Pastor Chris The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a religious family with loving and dedicated parents. He is the elder of three sons who was born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God on her son from the age of a child.

The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. His brother Reverend Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several international best-selling gospel artists.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon is following the route of her father in spreading the gospel of God to the world. Also known CSO she is an award-winning gospel singer and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

christembassydc.org/ Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied at Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where the student earned an BSc in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science award. Additionally, he holds an honourary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the campus where he felt God calling him to become a minister for the Lord.

The Man of God was a student at university started what would eventually become one of the most important churches in the entire world. A small prayer group named Youth for Christ’ was formed. It would grow into one of the largest and most well-known groups on campus. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions with the foundation of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.

The LoveWorld ministry was launched under the leadership of Pastor Chris. It’s a pioneer in satellite television, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station that reaches from Africa to the rest of the world 24/7 via free-toair networks. Today, LoveWorld television stations are accessible on satellite and cable networks all over the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris’s homeland of Nigeria as well as South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. Two Healing Schools are situated in South Africa and Canada. In Canada Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions which allow the manifestation of miracles.
